Shri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati is the foundation society, which manage this college. Shri Shivaji Education Society is founded by Dr. Panjabrao Alias Bhausaheb Deshmukh was established in 1932 at Amravati. Now society is managing more than 275 institutions of different faculties including senior colleges, Jr. Colleges, Secondary schools, Hostels, Engineering colleges, Polytechnic colleges, Medical colleges, etc.
Shri. Shivaji Education Society, Amravati has started Science College at Pauni, Dist-Bhandara from the year 1988–89 with the enrolment of the Students in B.Sc. – I (Maths).
The session 2019–2020 will commence on 15th June 2019 ended on 30th April, 2020. The college meets in one shift from10.30 A.M. to 5.30 P.M. The college posses its own building since 2001.
The college has two storied building situated on Khapri Road, Pauni. The massive two-storied building includes Five Science Laboratories, Five Classrooms, Principal Room, Administrative block Library, Girls Common Room, Computer Science Lab, Staff Room, etc.
The college from 2001 is under UGC norms and has 12B & 2(f). The College also faced NAAC and Re-accredited at B level.
